Der Aussichtspunkt Castelo Branco liegt in einer Höhe von ca. 655m. Von hier ist es bei gutem Wetter möglich zur einen Seite das Furnas-Tal und zur anderen Seite Vila Franca do Campo zu beobachten.
 
The viewpoint Castelo Branco lies at approx. 655m height. From here it is possible to see – good weather conditions assumed – the valley of Furnas on the one side and Vila Franca do Campo on the other side.
